Reporting to the hospital President, the Administrative Director has a seat at the senior leadership table and is responsible for all aspects of operations management in the Patient Safety & Quality Department. Managing a team of 18 professionals, this leader will be accountable for assuring integration of clinical quality improvement, deployment of data and information to support management and improvement of clinical and support processes; and providing support (analytical and data) for physician and nursing peer review. Additionally, the team manages risk issues, support investigations and root cause analyses.

During the summer, Madison's many lakes draw boaters, canoers, kayakers, sailors, swimmers and stand-up paddle boarders. Regional bike paths wind outward in all directions, while parks and golf courses transition to cross-country skiing trails in the winter.

The Candidate will have a minimum of five years’ experience leading quality, safety, regulatory and risk management in a healthcare environment. This experience will include three years’ management experience and will include analyzing health care data, developing areas of opportunity, and leading improvement, core measures and regulatory compliance teams. Success in leading significant clinical practice change and/or improvement initiatives with a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians and staff is valued. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing and a Master’s degree are required.
