A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience, ideally in an academic medical center, major teaching or multi-site healthcare system. Fiscal acumen demonstrated by the development of annual budgets reflecting staffing, capital and other operating expenses, and successful management of those budgets. Participation and/or leadership of the Magnet journey are required. Union experience is required. A master's degree in nursing is required; an M.H.A., M.B.A. and/or doctoral degree in nursing or in active pursuit of a doctoral degree is a plus. Eligibility for a State of New Jersey RN License.
