Lexington Medical Center Extended Care is seeking a Controller for our state-of- the- art 388 bed capacity nursing facility located in Lexington, SC. Our extended care facility is the largest nursing facility in North and South Carolina.
• The controller role is directly responsible for Accounting, Business Office, Information Systems, and Central Supply for LMC Extended Care. • Will provides analysis of LMC-EC income, expenditures, and capital asset values in comparisons to previous periods. • Heavily involved in establishing and maintaining an ongoing accounting system for LMCEC to meet all necessary needs, with a focus on providing complete and accurate records.
Qualifications: Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
Minimum Years of Experience: 6 Years of experience in the healthcare industry Substitutable Education & Experience (Optional): In lieu of 6 Years of healthcare industry experience, consideration will be given to those who are a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 4 years of related experience
Required Training: Experience and knowledge of computerized systems and accounting systems; demonstrated ability to supervise personnel with good communication skills; Possesses qualities of credibility, confidentiality, respect, independence and leadership. Well organized and able to work independently; Must possess the ability to examine and verify financial documents and reports.
