University Medical Center of El Paso (UMC), located in El Paso, Texas, is looking for a dynamic Human Resources professional to join our team as Leave of Absence Administrator (Administrator). The Administrator oversees and administers the Leaves of Absence (LOA) program requests and accommodations, patient education and interprets leave policies and processes. The Administrator tracks and ensures applicable laws, policies and regulations administered as it pertains to the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disability Act (ADA) and other medical leaves of absence. State and local leave laws, and short-term or long-term disability. Will conduct investigations, monitor, and analyze illness and injury episodes and trends to promote and protect worker health and safety.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required.
Will consider bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) with current Texas license and position specific experience.
Three years of experience in Human Resources, Occupational Health, Public Health or related area required.
Three years of consistent experience in Leaves of Absence to include FMLA, ADA and other medical leaves required
SHRM-PC or SHRM-SCP preferred.
