M Health Fairview has an immediate opening for a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA or LPN) to provide professional, quality care to patients at M Health Fairview's Rheumatology Disease Clinic in Maplewood, MN.
This is a 1.0 FTE (80 hours per two week pay period) position and the hours will be 7AM to 5:30PM Monday-Thursday. Additional hours may be available to pick-up on Fridays if interested, but not required.

Maintains knowledge of and complies with all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards.
Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements.
Supports the nursing process to achieve outcome focused patient care by following the plan of care in order to achieve identified patient outcomes.
Observes and collects data to contribute to the assessments of the patient and family in order to develop an outcome focused plan of care.
Follows the plan of care in order to achieve identified patient outcomes.
Intervenes in emergency situations as appropriate within scope of practice.
Communicates effectively with patient/family, physicians, and the interdependent team regarding the care of the patient.
Contributes to the achievement of patient and unit outcomes (Safety, cost, quality, satisfaction, engagement) by working collaboratively with inter and intradepartmental teams.
Current Medical Assistant certification by the AAMA or AMT (or able to obtain within 6 months of hire) or License Practical Nurse (LPN) through the MN Board of Nursing
Current BLS Certification - Red Cross or American Heart Association
Prior clinic experience
Prior lab/phlebotomy experience
Willingness and ability to work at other locations
