| The Perfusionist provides patient care in the form of operation ofthe extracorporeal circulation equipment during any medical situation where itis necessary to support or replace a person's cardiopulmonary, circulatory, orrespiratory function. The Perfusionist selects the appropriate equipmentand techniques necessary for support, treatment, measurement, orsupplementation of the cardiopulmonary and circulatory system of a patient,including the safe monitoring, analysis, and treatment of physiologic conditionsunder an order and supervision of aphysician. Perfusion Staff of 8.5 Surgeons 10 Work at only Onefacility 800-900 cardiac casesannually 120 ECMO cases annually 220 TAVR cases annually Call schedule consistsof 1st and 2nd call split evenly among theperfusion team with one weekend of call a month. Cardiac cases includeCAB, Valve, Mini AVR/MVR, ATAA, Heart and Lung transplant, multiple VADsincluding TAH, IABP and HIPEC cases. Equipment anddisposables utilized are Terumo System 1 with FX series disposables. Theperfusion team focuses heavily on current guidelines and standards with in theperfusion and medical community. Cardioplegia consists of Quest MPS 2with utilization of DNA CPG. The perfusion team utilizes autologous bloodsalvaging on cardiac cases only. There is opportunity toapply and work with the ECMO transport team. The team utilizes ground and airtransport to offer OSH cannulation as well as pre-existing transport to one ofour ECMO facilities. Our staff of highly trained ECMO specialist sit withand manage all ECMO patients in the Cardiac ICU.

QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's Degree
- Graduate of an accredited perfusion program
- No Experience required
- Licensed Perfusionist
- Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP)
- Certified by the American Board of Cardio Perfusion or willing to obtain within one 1 year of employment
