M Health Fairview has an immediate opening for a Certified Medical Assistant/LPN at the Tamarack Clinic. By performing daily patient visits, assisting with procedures, and accurately documenting information in the clinic electronic health record system, you will be a vital part of our clinic team!
This is a .8 FTE (64 hours per two week pay period) opening and is benefits-eligible.
$3000 New Hire Bonus if offered!
To be successful the Medical Assistant must:
Room patients, take vitals and health history, document in an electronic medical record, give injections and assist with minor procedures
Gather information and documents to support the patient visit
Be responsible for adhering to all policies, procedures and practice guidelines
Promote teamwork with all members of the health care team
Maintain complete, timely and accurate clinical documentation for each patient and continually looking for opportunities to improve processes and workflow
Current Medical Assistant certification by the AAMA or AMT or able to obtain within 6 months of hire or License Practical Nurse (LPN) through the MN Board of Nursing
Current BLS certification required upon hire
Previous experience in a clinic setting
Willingness and ability to work at other locations
