The Dialysis Technician provides exceptional patient care to adult dialysis patients through dialyzer reprocessing, equipment maintenance, repair and disinfecting, water treatment monitoring, and vascular access monitoring, The Dialysis Technician also provides exceptional support to the care team, working closely with and under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
About this Position:
This position will work 48 hours every two weeks, rotating the day shift with the evening shift.
This position works 8 hour shifts, and works every other weekend.
Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
If not a Certified Hemodialysis Technologist/Technician, must be certified within 18months of beginning work as a Hemodialysis technician and maintained.
Six months experience in medical-surgical unit or similar
Current and valid Hemodialysis Technologist/Technician Certification
