This position is located within Clinical Informatics Phoenix VA Health Care System (PVAHCS), Phoenix, AZ. PVAHCS is a Joint Commission Accredited, complexity level 1a tertiary care facility serving Veterans in Phoenix, Arizona. PVAHCS maintains outpatient clinics located in: Gilbert, Central Phoenix, Payson (Contract), Show Low, Globe and Surprise, Arizona. **This is a telework position: 50% time work at the Phoenix VA Facility and other 50% time work at home** Leads and organizes delivery of informatics services, design and use of informatics solutions and technology to support all areas of nursing and healthcare providers, knowledge of the methods, techniques, and tools used to analyze program, organizational, and healthcare/mission performance; includes methods that deliver key performance information (for example, comparative, trend, diagnostic, root cause, predictive) used to inform decisions, actions, communications, and accountability systems. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: Have practiced a minimum of 1 year in informatics nursing within three years of application with some experience in SQL, Power-BI,SSRS preferred, or Have practiced a minimum of 6 months in informatics nursing in the last three years AND completed 12 semester hours in informatics courses in a graduate-level nursing program with course work in Statistics for evidence-based practice, Database management, Research, Project management. Clinical information systems, Information security and privacy, Informatics theory with some experience in SQL, Power-BI, or SSRS preferred or Have completed a graduate program in informatics nursing which includes 200 hours of supervised practicum to include experience in SQL, Power-BI, or SSRS (transcripts must be provided, and can be official or unofficial) Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm Telework: Available.
