I am the owner of a small home birth full scope midwifery practice in eastern Pennsylvania, Berks County. I serve a predominantly horse and buggy Mennonite clientele in the Fleetwood/Kutztown communities. I am currently only attending 2-4 births per month as I am actively seeking retirement, but there is room to grow in two adjacent counties. I spend one morning per week on gyn care, but again, there is room to expand that if interested. There is also a possibility of offering women's primary care.

I am looking for a midwife who would be interested in working together in this small practice with the goal of my retirement and turning the practice over by the end of 2022. In order to have a Midwife license in Pennsylvania you must be a CNM and hold a PA RN license. Malpractice insurance and physician acceptance of hospital transfers are tied to the PA MW license. Most of Pennsylvania's home birth midwives do not hold a state license.
