Collaborates with other departments, including Quality and IT to implement evidence-based improvement initiatives using proven Lean strategies.Participates in the development of policies and procedures that are based on current recommendations and evidence. Ensures clinical staff adheres to policies and meets current standards.Assists with the development and monitoring of the budget. Practices efficient and cost-effective coordination of care and Vail Health Clinics.In collaboration with Vail Health Clinics' leadership, designs and evaluates programs and initiatives that are congruent with the organization's strategic plans, regulatory agency requirements, and nursing standards.Serves as a leader and liaison in problem-solving departmental issues/concerns to foster communication and cooperation and to ensure effective service for patients.
