Pacific Neuroscience Institute is seeking a full-time physician assistant to support the Neurosurgery/Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery team in Santa Monica, California. This position provides both inpatient and outpatient services within a hospital setting. The physician assistant acts as first or second assistant in surgery under supervision of the supervising physician, preoperative inpatient management, supply chain management, post-operative patient care and discharge management. You can also expect to assist the supervising physician with patient rounding during weekdays and on weekends as needed. - Monday to Friday schedule with some weekends
- Surgical assist role split between ENT and Neurosurgery
- Roughly 50% OR time
- 1 year of experience in a surgical setting is highly preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
- CA licensed provider or application in process preferred
- Compensation is between $76.13 and $97.15 per hour
- The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.
